I’ve been talking to Cash App customer service for three weeks and they keep giving me the same explanation. I had filed a dispute with my bank because I suspected a fraudulent transaction. To cut a long tale short, my girlfriend had my debit card linked to her cash app and accidentally used it to buy cryptocurrency from another user. When I discovered this, I withdrew my dispute and my bank closed the case. The other user’s account got a chargeback. Cash app eventually sent the $500 to my bank, but my bank promptly returned the monies because they had concluded the dispute and had nothing further to do with the issue. I followed up with Cash App, showing them the withdrawal document and asking when the other user’s monies will be delivered to him. 52158977 is the case number. All I keep getting is “call your bank for up to date information,” but my bank says they’ve done everything they can and have no more information because the disagreement has been resolved, and they’ve sent the monies back to Cash App to be released to the other user. Can you tell me when the other user will get his money back? I’m in a bad mood and simply want this to be finished. He’s threatening to report me and everything else, but all I’ve done is attempt to help him, and Cash App has the WORST customer service. What is the procedure for obtaining his money back?
